Tuesday night was the NOJH Softball banquet. Each of the girls got an award. Gracie got the "Mommy Long Legs Award" The coaches loved teasing her about how long her legs are. When we were sitting down Dick Scadden came in and asked Gracie why she went around the table instead of just walking over it. She just giggled.
At the beginning of the year the coaches emphasized that it was just as important to be a team supporter as it was to be the most valuable player. After all the girls got their awards the gave out the award for Most Valuable Player and Most Valuable Team Member. Mike and I were so please when Gracie got the Team Member award. She really did enjoy the games even if she didn't play them all.
