Today we went to Snow Days at Weber State. They started out with a speaker from the Nature Center. He talked all about birds. He was a little boring and the kids kept getting up and walking around (all the kids, not just ours) Then they had two other ladies from the Nature Center show the kids some birds and talk more on their level. After some snacks the kids were turned loose to create their own species of bird. They gave them some basic bird parts and a bunch of supplies to do so. The kids glued and cut for about and hour and then we went back to Steve and Emily's to wait for the dads.
When Steve and Mike got there, we had a contest to see who's bird was the most creative. everyone got a couple of Girl Scout Cookies.
Then we took the kids to "Get Air" a trampoline park in Roy, another free thing courtesy of Emily's killer deals. The kids loved it.
They jumped for about an hour and 15 min and then our time was up.
It was hard to get good pictures because they are always moving. Gracie was so funny. Mike kept trying to get her to do a flip but she just couldn't curl that long body up.
