This weekend we only had Jakers home. Gracie was in California for 10 days and Gretchen was having a double sleepover at Emily Ballard's house and taking a day trip to Idaho with them. We tended Josie and Trigger while Dean and Lindsey went to conference. Jake had Bridger come over and make some model toys and paint bird houses. I took them to the park while Josie and Trig took naps. They had a great time running around like wild indians while I listened to Conference in the truck. This was the first time in a long time that I have been able to listen to every session. Maybe I will farm my kids out again next year... any takers?
Saturday night, after the Priesthood session, we had treats and played games at Granny Sharon's house. Don't worry, that is just a doll that Maddie is holding. She brought it home from high school to see how hard having a baby is. Too bad that baby isn't cute. Being a mom is easier when you make cute babies like Mike & I do.
We love playing games and we had good treats. I was rude and told Lindsey not to put the chili in the queso, but turns out I owe her an apology because it was delicious.
