Bobcat

On my blog, I bet you expected to something like this:

...or maybe one that Mike had shot.

But I have something better, my very own Bobcat. We are so proud of Jake and all that he has accomplished in getting his Bobcat award in Cub Scouts. He enjoys scouts. After he got his award he said it was a good thing I didn't go up there with him cause he did all the work with dad. It is common to see them working through the scout handbook at least once a week. I think Jake likes scouts because it is the perfect excuse for him to make something.

The other day Jake was out helping, our neighbor, Jeff shovel his driveway. Jake loves to shovel. When he came in he let me know he was out helping Jeff, so he could pass off "service" in his scout book.

He likes to use the recycling items to make "small machines". Gretchen might be the biggest fan of his creations.
