3 Months

This sweet boy is 3 months. I love all of the progress he is making, but I am sad to watch it pass so quickly. He is growing and getting a little chub on his thighs. He coos a lot and has just started giggling. Sometimes he sleep through the night and sometimes not so much. He likes to grab a fist of beard hair any time he can. He now moves his had to his face to hold his binki in, but only when he is laying on his tummy. He still isn't good at keeping the binki in his mouth.
He is just starting to grow out of his 0-3 month clothes. I have never had a baby wear the clothes sized for the corresponding age. But I am glad he is staying little a little longer.
I am really enjoying having a baby again. It is so fun to watch him discover. I don't have to worry about adding to my family or about the little toddlers running around too. I can just sit in the chair and visit with him. I still have to be the mom but at least I know what to value knowing he is our last.
I had to post this picture because I love the fine little hairs on his head.
For some reason they remind me of chicken feathers, a baby chick.
Baby bums are so cute even if skinny little chicken legs hang off of them. I wish I had a picture of him with his legs all tucked under him. That is my favorite baby position. I love, love, love it when you pick them up and they arch their back and their little legs are still pulled up to their tummy.
I am not sure how the Kiddie Kandid girls get cute pictures of babies on their little hands, but I am quite sure Max was done with pictures even before I took this one.
It is sad to leave him and go to work but it is so fun to get texts from Leslie with cute pictures of my happy boy. He really likes Luke.
At 3 months, Max is too big for a bath in the sink. It is so much easier to stand than to lean over the tub, so sometimes I still squish him in there but it is getting harder and harder. The other day I had to put his legs across the divider and bathe his head & body and then his bum and legs.
I took this with my phone so the quality is poor, but doesn't he just look so happy to be in our family?
We are so very in love with this boy.
