Gretchen was playing in the tub while Jake & I were doing his homework. She sings, splashes, blows bubbles, chants and yells "I have been in here for an hour and a half!"

So I hurry and finish up,

I sent Jake downstairs to get in his pajamas & told him to get back before I count to 12.

She asks "Mother did you say 12? Mother did you say any numbers?" So, with due dilligence, I start at 11 and then pause. She sings out "AnD NOw foR THE GraND FiNaLe: {12}"
