Hallapalooza 2011

My parents had a little family reunion. They rented an enormous home in the valley for three days. We started the morning with family pictures. Then we went to lunch at Golden Coral (the grand kids favorite), and then bowling. Next we headed up to the house to settled in. Kery ran around the house exploring and then asked were the toy room was, he is so cute. As soon as we got there the kids needed to swim, the hot tub was a big hit. At dinner CJ said the prayer in his deep voice "Thank you for grandpa, Thank you for my brand new house, Amen"

We filled this day with good food, swimming, games, playing, bike rides, crafts, make-overs and glitter toes. The kids found this cart under the stairs. Jake had a really good time filling it up over and over all weekend.
Alyson did these girls up and then took their pictures. They love to pose.
That night we played Minute-To-Win-It. It was so funny, what a great memory.
Later the kids had a little dance party and Jake showed us his Tae Kwon Do routine.
The night ended with more games, and a little wrestling. Taylor's parents went to bed and she got to stay up as long as she wanted, she was so excited.

We spent Saturday at Willard Bay. The weather was perfect. JD and Catherine were nice enough to take us all boating. They were so patient and everybody got more than enough turns doing whatever they wanted. MacKay rented a surf board thing that was super fun and everyone enjoyed. The kids loved the sand and just playing all day. It was fabulous!

Then on Sunday it was my parents farewell. They did a wonderful job. The chapel and gym were completely full. It was really neat for my mother to be able to share her testimony with the kids she taught. They have so many that love and respect them.
