At school the kids fill out reading slips every week. They do small drawings every week and at the end of the year there is a drawing for a bike. At our school they give away 4 bikes, 2 for the lower grades and 2 for the upper grades. Our Gracie's won the bike & a $50.00 scholarship. She must be pretty lucky to win not one, but two of the big prizes. Gretchen won a stuffed Blaze dog, the Road to Success, mascot. Jake wailed right in the middle of the assembly. Poor kid, pretty hard to have both your siblings win something and not you. The bike Gracie won, was quite small. We were able to take it back and upgrade for a bigger bike.
This fellow in the picture is "Magic Mike". He did a magic show during the assembly.

Go Gracie - that is awesome! I'm glad you got a bigger bike. Your mom said they shouldn't let one kid win two prizes, but I'm sure glad that since they did that kid was you! love you
