Stats

You know how good moms post their kids stats? Well, Casey called to see how tall my kids were and what they weighed. He was struggling with the booster seat requirements. You have to be 4' 8" & 80 lbs to graduate from a booster seat. His little darlings might be in 9th grade, but it turns out Gracie should still be in one too.

Gracie: 4' 11" 73.6lbs
Jake: 4' 3.5" 59.3lbs
Gretchen: 3' 9.5" 45.9lbs

Can you believe what a good mom I am?

I thought once they were 8 they didnt have to sit in a booster seat? Could you check into it a little more and let your dear friend know? ;)

They have to be 4'8" and 80 lbs. OR eight years old. Gracie is legal. AND SO IS RACHEL! Hurray. . . now we are down to three car seats.

Utah's Booster Seat Law: Children under age 8 (or through age 7) must be properly restrained in a child restraint or booster seat. There is an exception that states that children younger than 8 are not required to be in a booster seat if they are at least 57 inches tall. At that point, they should use the seat belt without a booster.
