Last year Gracie was, well, let's say not very interested in reading. Her teacher had a chart to track the progress of AR (advanced reading) books that the kids read. The kids would get a bead for their snake body. Gracie's snake never got really big (like 8 beads). This year she was so excited to report that if she read 100 AR books, she could go to McDonald's with her teacher. I was humored with that statement, but excited that she was interested. I responded, "I will take you to Javier's if she could get to 50!" Well, she is over 60!! She has really been excited about reading. She has read all of the Wimpy Kid books & is currently reading 3 different books at one time. Today, she traded in her "Javier's" trip for a trip to see the Diary of a Wimpy Kid movie. (Gracie had to work hard for her trip to the movie, so I had to make Jake equally responsible for his ticket. See note below) Anyway, she giggled the entire time. "ZOOWEEMAMA"

Well do I have a gift for her! I have about twenty books that she is more than welcome to borrow. Have her give me a call. Congratulations Gracie!
Angela, I hope you don't mind that Gracie let my kids borrow the first book. Sara is nearly through it. She loves it too. She and Garcie basically had a read-a-thon on Friday. That may be giving me some ideas for Spring break.
Okay, so it was Sara & Gracie. Not Sara & Garcie!!!!!!!
