Aunt Aly made this cute chart for Jake. He saw Taylor's and had to have one of his own. Aly even gave him some remarkable markers that have erasers on top.
Here is the scoop, if Jake gets "caught" doing something good or helping, he gets to mark an X on his chart, when the chart is full he get a prize. Here is Jake's interpretation: If I think I did something good, I mark the box. If I did something good & I told my mom, I mark the box. If the pen gets excited, and I can't help it, I mark the box!
He has been so funny. In his deep "old man" voice, he asked me if I wanted him to clean the dishes.
I was pleased and let him clear the dishes. When he got them cleared off & over to the sink, he did his two finger point and said, "It's pretty much my responsibility to get these dishes washed."
Pretty funny picture hugh? I had to laugh, because that tongue was really helping him concentrate. I love this boy, and I love the way he talks & his demeanor when he is all business.

I love the way he talkes too. You should give Aly a prize for the paper she gave Jake. I can just see you letting Jake have a prize every time he does just one job.
I think you might need to get some audio recordings of Jake's voice. Then maybe people will believe me about his man voice. And you should probably get some videos showing his two-finger points. Funny kid.
He is a hard worker!! I love the picture of him sticking his tongue out!!
I like his 2 finger point thing - even though I have never seen it I am totally envisioning it in my head and loving it!
I also liked that the marker can get excited and draw all by itself - pretty impressive ;)
