I had to post this picture. The other night Gracie & I were doing homework. Gretchen escaped from her crib and climbed up on the counter. She laid across Gracie's homework packet and started scooting around. She giggled, "Mom, I am skating!" It is hard to be consistent at not letting her get away with getting out of bed when she is so dang funny. I think she gets her charm from her dad. I swear those two can get away with anything.
5 Things About Gretchen
ONE: Gretchen is potty trained.
TWO: When she is serious she sticks her bum out, sticks one leg out, puts her hands on her hips & drags her words for emphasis.
THREE: She is very stubborn. If it isn't what she wants, it ain't gonna happen. With that, if she is going to do it, do not get in her way.
FOUR: She plays very well with Jake. I love to hear her call him "buddy"
FIVE: She cracks me up, she tells some fantastic knock-knock jokes. The other day she told me one & I was concentrating on doing Gracie's hair. She hollered, "Mom, yous supposed to laugh!"

I might have to do a few more...
SIX: She takes her breakfast very seriously. It is the first thing she asks about.
SEVEN: She love to take her medicine. Considering the circumstance that has been a good thing, on the other hand it has been a problem (heart-worm) This morning she asked me for a biteamin. When I gave it to her I called it a vitamin and she quickly corrected me "bite-a-min" (like I said, she drags her words for emphasis)
EIGHT: I adore her, she is so fun to play with. I love to take her shopping & she is quite delightful when it is just the two of us!!
