Allergies

When the kids were picking out their treat at ShopKo, Jake asked me if he could buy a roll of Bubble Tape. I told him that would not be possible and that he was allergic to gum. His response, "I am only allergic to pineapple!" Honest, I do not know where this boy gets his ideas. A couple of months ago we were at the doctor & she asked if Jake was allergic to anything. She meant any kind of medications. Before I could answer, he caught us both off guard when he let her know about the pineapple. We have never even had pineapple in our house.
As long as we are talking about Jake's allergies, I will take this opportunity to document another of his startling revelations. Jake was at the babysitter's having lunch when he told Trisha that he was allergic to Jesus (no wonder the boy keeps leaving primary). She thought that was pretty funny. Later that day in the midst of another unrelated topic, Jake let her know that he was a sneezing star in heaven, "You know, on account a, I'm allergic to Jesus" ...Pray for us...
