Anniversary?
This last weekend Mike & I spent our anniversary...with our kids. It was so much fun. I was getting a little nervous after the way last week went but it was a "10". We kept everything a surprise! We packed up secretly and off we went. First stop: Jungle Jim's. It is a place only a kid could love. There are different rides & games. We took them to the Training Table for some cheese fries and then off to the Marriott. Our kids love staying in hotels. The swimming pool was so warm. If you have ever had a king sized bed you know a double just won't do. Mike & I struggled to get comfortable but the kids were worn out. Gretchen wouldn't sleep in the portable crib because she thought the sheets were paper & the blue color just would not do. She wanted a pink crib. No problem Jake jumped in and pulled that paper sheet over to make a tent! The next morning we had breakfast at the hotel while Jake and Gretchen made themselves comfortable running through the lobby, Gracie likes breakfast too much. Off to the zoo. The weather was great. It was a little cold for Gracie & I at first, but it warmed up. We watched the elephant show and were quite impressed. Mike even thought that an elephant might be smarter than a dog. After so much fun that the ugly face of whining reared it's head we decided to call it good. It was a sweet reminder of what marriage is all about. I am so very excited about being married to Mike and having our darling family! Happy anniversary to ME!!

Happy Anniversary! Looks like you guys had a good time. I love that you took your kidlets....they looked like they were loving it. The pics are so cute and I think Gretchen looks just like a Hall in them.
