Bear Lake

Josie wanted her birthday at the beach. Lindsey invited the family to Bear Lake to celebrate. It was so fun because almost everyone was there.
Hannah was so funny, she just wallowed in the mud like a little pig. She walked around with a big grin most of the day. Once I looked over and saw her with her bum in the air and her face in the sand. I pointed it out to Aly and then as we watched, her legs started to slide out to the side. I was afraid that she had gotten heat stroke and passed out. Aly ran over to check on her and she was fine. Mike said that she stuck her face in a shallow hole because their was candy in the bottom. She was hysterical.
The kids all loved the kayaks and the paddle boards, but these masks were a big hit with the younger crowd.

We had 3 canopies, one sun tent, toys, chairs, and a lot of food. It is amazing all the stuff we packed down to that beach.

Johnny brought a camp stove and made corn on the cob. It was awesome.

We were all playing and enjoying ourselves when the wind started to blow. We were hustling around cleaning up. I thought "Ha, this is like when dad gets out the vacuum so we will go home." It was a good thing too because we had planned on staying later and as it was we didn't get home until 10. It was Sunday the next day and we needed to get ready.
~Even when they are a million miles away, they are still with us~

As we left Lindsey took this family picture for dad.
Dad calls us seagulls. He says that we come with our families, eat all the food, crap all over the place, then leave. He even has a ceramic seagull that sits on a log in his front yard. He cracks himself up.
