Tonight we made homemade icecream. I experimented with an icecream maker and the kids made theirs in bags.
It was funny watching the kids shake their bags.
Lucy was the most innovative, the others just exerted a lot of energy.
These are my favorite shots. In the first shot I tried to get a good picture, but the kids did not cooperate. In the second, after the kids had been shaking, throwing & mashing their bags they got holes in them, the saltwater started leaking onto their dry skin so they all dropped their bags. Look at Luly.
The Dave Ballard Family joined us a little later. It is so fun to have them here.

You are a brave soul - I would never mix children + bags of expensive ingredients.
I guess that's what happens when I am slow. I started writing about this, but never finished. I'm still going to post mine. Someday.
