Mike took Gretchen & Jake ice-fishing with a bunch of his buddies and their kids. Jake was so excited to tell me that he was the first one to catch 6 fish. Gretchen was just as pleased with her 5. When I asked Mike how many fish he caught he replied "6+5" He is a good daddy and they really had a good time.

First I looked at the pictures of Jake. I made it big and thought "look at the dumb girl in the background she has her ears outside of her head band and they are bright red and obviously freezing". Then I made the picture of Gretchen big- and realized she is the dumb girl with the red freezing ears. Turns out I'm the dumb one! Mike is a good dad, what great memories.
Good for Mike - I think that any man who truly loves someone will give up a day of fishing to attend to his sweethearts. I am glad they had a good time. I hope you were able to enjoy your day as well.
