Yesterday (for craft day, that is right, craft day) we took this little girl back to the urologist at Primary Children's Hospital. She has kidney reflux. Gretsie did so well. She is very afraid of the catheter, so I promised her a guinea pig. I have been wanting one for the kids since before Gretchen turned one, so it worked out perfectly. Plus, we named her Hazel, so that makes her even better:) She is a she.
Anytime we want to make an outing out of something we go with Emily and the kids. They ran a few errands while we were at the hospital and then we had planned to go to a park. We drove around a bit looking for the perfect park and then the perfect parking spot and then found ourselves with an entirely different plan. We took the kids to see the conference center. I had never been there. It was amazing and my heart was so full. Not to be cheesy, but I could physically feel the Spirit. We were in the perfect place at the perfect time.
It was fun to be able to point out that this was where conference would take place in just a few weeks. Here are some cute pictures that Emily took. Jake was very impressed with "all that sound from that little piano". They loved being on the top floor, they loved the escalators, the elevators, the high ceilings, wide hallways and especially being on top of a roof that not only has plants, but fountains & pools of water. Our tour guide was as perfect for our group as our outing was for us!!

We were pretty lucky that when we left, we only had a few wet sleeves.
This was my favorite, I wish Gracie had come.
It was really a remarkable craft day.

nice work, nice work!
you should document that the pigs name is HAZEL that is the cute part!
Wish I could have come, I have never been on the Conference Tour. I usually go when it is FULL of people which makes me FULL of anxiety. As for the pig...so so so cute. I met her tonight, you should know that I think she may be afraid of Gretchen.
So cute...what a fun idea! Love the previous entry with Gretchen doing her homework...so cute:)
