Gretchen had these 3 little "do-dads" on her hands. They looked kinds funny and I thought they might just go away, but I did show them to my family to get their opinion.

Then three days later
17, that is right
17, more showed up, scattered around her hands. I had Mike take her to the doctor and they were ruled as warts. Yuck.

Anyway, the first one festered and I picked it (a weakness) it healed and went away. I saw the next one fester, I picked it and it too went away.

Warts don't do that do they? So I took her back, Dr. Barhorst took some of the puss and ran some tests, but nothing grew. She put Gretchen on an antibiotic and gave us a topical one as well. They have all sunk in the middle but some are gone and some are not.

Thought we better document it either way. If there is something to get, we know Gretsie gets it.

It sounds like hand-foot-mouth disease. It's not as bad as it sounds...Sydney had it and her bumps were quite similar. Once she actually has the bumps she is not contagious anymore...I did a bunch of research about it, and friends whose kids got it many families only one kid would get the bumps and some kids can actually be contagious without having the bumps, so she probably got it from someone who didn't even realize they had it....if that's what it is.
