Logan's Blessing

Gretty loves herself a little baby time.
We went up to Boise to see Logan be blessed.  It is the first time we have been lucky enough to go see them (the closer location helped us convince the daddy).  We stayed right at their house.  Jake was beside himself with delight that he was staying at Jack's house.
Saturday was International Scrapbooking Day (I think that is the term) So Angela W, Angela B, Grandma Gloria, Gracie & Gretsie all went out to play.  I won a prize for standing on the right number & Angela helped me pick a good one!  Then we did a take & make book with all kinds of fabulous scrapping tools.  Grandma got the kids some stickers and we had a lovely time.
We went back to tie some shoes and get the men & boys in the truck and then Grandma Gloria took us to lunch.  It was fantastic.  That night we played bad-mitten and had a cook out.  After we cleaned up the house & got the kids to bed, Angela tried to sneak Gracie out to make an extra special craft (Angela couldn't help but get Gracie a few special items at the shop)  Miss Gretchen was not having it.  I went in to lay with her and through the tears she lectured me, "You fink that monsters are pretend, but there not to me (pout)".  And then looking up at the vertical blinds where a little light shone through she added, "And I don't like lines".  After Gracie was finished I stayed up and held darling Logan Thomas and visited with Angela.  It was fun to stay up and gab.
Sunday was so nice & Tyler did a wonderful job with the blessing.  We left shortly after lunch.  On the way home we stopped to see 1000 Springs and the ride through that area was beautiful.  The rest of the ride, not so much.  It was very evident that even though we had all had a wonderful trip (THANK YOU GRANDMA GLORIA FOR MAKING IT POSSIBLE) that no one had enough sleep.
