Me: No way, I had to change your sheets this morning cause they smelled like pee (he wears pull ups at night, so if it still smells like pee then there is a fluid issue). In fact, you go to the bathroom right now! Go twice!

Jake: Mom, I went, then I plugged it, then I went again. (thumbs up)
I heard a loud crash in the living room. I went in to check it out. Gracie was putting a few things back on the couch table & looked shocked. I asked what happened and Gracie said that she really didn't know.
I see Jake jump backwards (as if to leave the scene) I quickly accused him and went down the hallway. I hear him say to Gracie "The consequences are over now, I did it, it is too late, the consequences are over now"
For clarification, there were no consequences & no one really got in trouble. Our boy says a lot of random things out of context. This was classic Jake.
Gracie & I were putting clean sheets on her bed. I stepped on an Almay TLC lipgloss in Honey, if you will, and asked where it came from. Gracie said that she got it out of her jacket pocket (as if lipgloss comes with jackets & I was just going to believe that)
Greta's eyes lit up and immediately she starts talking: Um maybe it's "bury" special to me, maybe I got it from the doctor... I am guessing it is yours mom? I will work on getting it back to you:)

It's too late, the consequences are over now. Where do your kids come up with this stuff? I am going to have to start using their material.
your kids are hilarious!!! where ya been, haven't talked in a while. we need to get out and catch up. hopefully life will slow down a bit here soon. call me!!
