So I am thinking that today has been Gretchen's worst day. She has been a bit crabby & has been digging at her ears a lot. He doctor said that would happen because the tube that runs up the throat radiates pain through the ears. This morning I could not convince her otherwise and so she had a few bites of cereal. Maybe that was a bad idea. She has wanted nothing to do with eating the pudding & yogurt. She has even passed on the popsicles. She has however maintained a detailed inventory of who is eating her special "throw-up" foods. "Throw-up" is the word she uses when she is talking about her sore throat. Tonight for dinner we had spaghetti & I guess that the doctor should have told us soft & bland food because there seemed to be a bit of a spicy sauce emergency, don't panic, not anything a drag on the binki couldn't remedy. I am going to give her her meds & put her to bed. I do declare, we have had enough of each-other. I should state, due to the fact that she may read this at a later time, I do feel bad for her, I am just a bit tired from waking up around 4 times a night to get her a drink & sooth her.
Update
That is the binki she stole form Adam. She had that at the hospital & I think it distracted the doctor & nurses enough that they didn't realize she was 3!

Oh man. I hope she starts feeling better for her sake AND yours! Being a mommy is tuff work to say the least.
Poor little girl. I hope she gets better soon. She is such a cutie.
Where was the binky when we were shopping this morning? Just kidding. I actually forgot her surgery was only five days ago. She's doing great..but I didn't know you were having to get up so much at night.
She is a baby if you have to get up 4 times a night, she is like a newborn, so sorry about the lack of sleep
I can't even imagine!! I hope that this surgery makes everything better!
