Today was our ward's primary program. There was a sister kneeling down by the pulpit. She was helping the little kids with their parts. She said a line, Jake repeated it. She said another line, Jake repeated it. She told him "good job" and he was so focused on listening & repeating he repeated that too!
Gracie had her part memorized, but read it. When I asked her why she read it when she had worked so hard to memorize it she replied, "well, I had it, so why not read it?" She read it very clear & loud and she did look cute.
You would think that sitting with only one would be easy, not so. Miss Gretchen was on Mike's lap leaning over the bench and looked back at me and asked, "Mom, you having more kids?" I shook my head back & forth, all those surrounding us were giggling. Then, "Mom, you don't want more kids? You don't like kids?" It was quite embarrassing. My face was so red, I could feel it.
Oh, I do love being the momma. I have just felt the spirit so strongly today. I am so very grateful for the gospel & the sweet promptings that my Heavenly Father gives me. I can fell His spirit so often. I am very grateful to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ. Today I taught a lesson in Relief Society. The lesson was from Elder Uchtdorf's April conference address. It was titles Faith of our Father. We explored many aspects of this topic. It really made me thankful for my heritage and the family that raised me. I am thankful for the prophets that are on the earth today, but also for those that came before & took great lengths to record their experiences that we may learn from them, but also that we might be able to relate to them & their experiences. I know that this is the complete gospel, that God lives & provides continuing revelation today. I am thankful for the prophet & the leaders of this church. It is good to be a Mormon!

Thank you for telling me about your wonderful day. You are great and your kids are so wonderful. Maybe you could get talked in to having more kids.
Today was our Primary Program as well and it made me so happy. Nothing is more entertaining than children performing, but nothing touches your heart so easily either. Awesome...
Angela, I tear up just reading. Your testimony was for me today. Thank you, thank you for sharing. I have been SUPER emotional today. Joshy made Sacrament meeting extremely hard and I think that made me resent Matt's calling a little. Doesn't happen too often, but it sure did today. So I appreciate hearing that you love being a momma & your sweet testimony. I love being a momma too!
ah it is good to be mormon huh?! i'm glad to hear that i'll be able to feel the spirit more again...i swear if someone asked me what went on in church i would just tell them the food i fed coop to keep him happy and what dr suess books we read. :-) i love that gretchen was asking you all that in sacrament...too funny
Can you imagine how lost we all would be if we didn't have the gospel in our lives. Imagine not thinking that you could be with Mike and the kids forever?
I always love the primary sacrament program. I'm just enjoying the time before Dustin can start talking and embarrass me like that. That's hilarious.
um, that was the most hilarious thing i have ever heard in church. you forgot the part where she said, mom don't you want me?
your lessons are always wonderful!
That is so super CUTE! When I said your blog was hilerous, I didn't mean that in a bad way!!! I just meant that when I read it, I get a smile on my face! How did your kids like High School Musical?
