What a busy day. My aunt & uncle opened their pool for us. Mike & I took the kids & went swimming with cousins. It is a once-in-a-life-time opportunity to swim on Halloween.
It was a little chilly when we got out, but the pool was as warm as a bath. We didn't get to stay very long, because we tried something new. Alyson, Grandma Sharon & I took the grandchildren out to Grandpa "Amelopes" that is what Jake calls him.

I can not believe I had not thought of it before. This was our first year to visit them and we all had a good time. Usually we spend Hall-oween with the Hall's. They really enjoyed it & Gretchen even kissed Grandma. I am glad I have proof, NO one would have believed it.
We hurried back to Plain City to get our food assignments to the party & meet up with the Hill's & Hall's for trick-or-treating. After some treats, piggy back rides, visiting & whining we headed back to Jerry & JoAnn's for out annual HALL-oween party. Grandma & Grandpa Hall usually have it at their house, but Grandpa has had a lot of surgery & they were concerned about the germs & business of such a big group.
Jerry & Jo were kind enough to host it for them. I was very grateful. I can not remember a year that we didn't have a party at Grandma's. It has been such a special tradition for me. Not having this party, would have been worse than canceling Christmas. Thank you SO much Jerry & JoAnn that meant so much to all of us. We had a really good time. The sugar cookies were FanTasTic!!
Gretchen even kissed Grandma Hall! It must have been the sugar high. What a glorious thing to have a camera to document. Around 11pm, yep 11 pm, Mike & I went with Johnny & Emilee & Karen & Tyson to the Sonora Grill Halloween party. It was fun. We had chips & salsa, prickly-pear lemonade, treats & guacamole. Some played Rock Band, some danced & We all watched the cross-dresser perform (don't you wish I had a picture of that?). If they have a party next year & will disguise myself, go alone & dance my heart out. I just figured out that there are not specific dance moves. You can move anyway you like if you do it with confidence. The End... What an incredible day!

Gretchen kissed me also, but I don't see that picture! That was the first time Gretchen has wanted anything to do with me. She definately was very proud of her candy.
