Gretchen's Nighttime Situation Update
I went ahead and put the deer head back on the wall in Gretchen's bedroom. She noticed it right off, but where else am I going to keep that? Anyway, this is daddy's solution & to keep the peace I go with it. In addition to moving her bed right up to the door, we now cover the crib with blankets. Covering the crib with blankets creates a lot of giggling & we all come out on top. Sometimes we have to pick our battles...

I love that idea...Even for a five year old a tent is a great idea. It is safe place for them to hide. Good Job Mike!!
What a silly little girl. Hey, if you saw a mark by her left eye - well, Tyler was swiging a hose and the end hit her. Her response was sad because she didn't cry when it happened, but as soon as I noticed it and asked her what happened her little chin started to quiver. That darn Ty didn't give her the hug & attention she needed after it happened so I took care of that.

maybe she is training young to not want any old dead animals in her house. smart girl.
