The other day I took the kids to the store to get a few groceries. I can't remember why I wouldn't let them get a treat, but as we walked around the store Gretchen found a bag of candy corn. She was so tickled I couldn't resist, plus they are like .99 so she got them. She carried them, she distributed them in baggies, she protected them from Gracie & Jake who didn't even want them & she reminded those unaware, that they were her candy corns. The next morning I got her a bowl, a spoon & was grabbing her cereal from the cupboard when she said, "I don't want "ucky charms" I am having "candy cornies" ack-chew-lly" I turned around and she had poured herself a bowl of water covered "candy cornies" I didn't have my camera, Mike had taken it hunting, but it would have been a hilarious picture. It is a funny story even without a picture so I had to document it.

ha that is hilarious!! i'm not a big candy corn lover and with added water...ick...give me the lucky charms. your caramel apples turned out awesome...they look delish
I will have to pass this story onto Ross. I could totally see him eating the same thing for breakfast..maybe with some sprite instead of water, but nonetheless. That is pretty funny though. And those caramel apples look so yummy. You guys always do the funnest stuff. Don't be suprised if one day you answer the door and there I stand ready to participate in craft day with ya'll.
Candy is the first thing Morgan asks for in the morning! She is so independent!! Did she end up eating the "Candy Cornies?"
the worst part of this story is that you threw out her candy cornies.....I can just imagine what happened when she realized she was out of candy cornies.
