Antelope Island

This little piggy....
Almost every Wednesday is "Craft Day"  with our cousins.  Sometimes we mix it up a bit with "Park Day", "Bike Day" or even "Field Trip Day".  Today we had a field trip to Antelope Island.  Emily, my sister-in-law gets me to venture out of my safety zone and try new things.  We took all of the kids and went to the island for a day.  The weather was amazing and it wasn't crowded. It was so much fun.  We had a great time and didn't even leave until 6.  We visited the Garr Ranch, where we saw baby chicks, ran through the big barn, traveled through the forest & saw some deer.  We ventured through the little homestead & experienced a cellar.  We drove to the other side of the island and discovered the visitors center & the beach.  We really had a pleasant day.  Thanks Emily.  You are good for me!

So I haven't been there in forever and I don't remember doing any of those fun things. I guess we will need to make a trip in the future. John and I were looking at doing a 1/2 marathon there, but then I thought about having to breath in that aroma while running for 2 hours and I reconsidered. Maybe it wasn't as bad as I remembered?
